Description

The Town Reservoir is a circular pit, about 2.0 meters deep, located on a hilltop outside the park gate. It provides a gravity fall of approximately 18 meters to the center of the town. The reservoir features stone walls that are approximately 1 meter thick, constructed with puddled clay. The diameter of the reservoir is around 10 meters. There is no remaining evidence of the intake or draw-off pipework, nor of any possible cover.
