Description

Deerpark Lodge is a Grade II listed building constructed in a Tudor Domestic style, featuring timber framing with white painted infill panels set on a stone plinth wall. The roof is made of Ruabon type red tiles and has sprocketing over the front verandah. The building is L-shaped, with a boarded door located in the angle beneath an open verandah supported by timber posts. It has three and four-light paned timber windows, and the decorative framing includes curved braces within the panels. There is a stone stack on the eastern gable end, which has offsetting steps and a brick flue, along with a fire window on the side facing the road. The rear of the lodge is gabled and built above battered stone walls that accommodate the steeply sloping ground to the south.
