Stone Cottage (also known as Ffordd Dwr)

Stone Cottage, also known as Ffordd Dwr, is a single-fronted, two-storey cottage constructed of rubble stone with larger quoins. It features a slate roof with a stone stack on the left end that has been rebuilt in brick. The windows are positioned slightly to the left of centre. The lower storey window has a top-hung casement set in an earlier opening, complete with a stone lintel. To the right, there is a doorway with a wooden lintel, and the door has vertical ribs on the lower part, while the upper part is boarded with an inserted glazed panel. In the upper storey, there is a horizontal-sliding sash window located beneath the eaves.

Attached to the right gable end is a shed that belongs to Cartref. Additionally, there is a rear wing that has been added, which is set well back and projects from the rear of the left gable end. Although not inspected, a survey by RCAHM Wales indicated that the lower storey originally had two rooms, but the smaller rear room had been partly removed to accommodate the rear projection.
