Description

South Lodge is a simple Gothic style single-storey building featuring three windows, along with a single-window cross wing at the southern end. It is constructed of rubble stone and has a hipped slate roof with projecting eaves and two diagonal ridge stacks. The front of the lodge is adorned with thin pilaster strips that are evenly spaced between the windows. The windows are two-light small-pane casements, each with Y-tracery overlights. The doorway, located to the right of center, also has a similar overlight and a boarded door. The left side wall of the cross wing contains three inserted windows, while the rear wall features a casement window. The main range includes lean-tos at the back. The building has not been inspected.
