Former granary at Penbedw Uchaf

The former granary at Penbedw Uchaf is a building constructed of whitened rubble stone with a slate roof. It faces northeast towards the house and features a replaced boarded door to the left of center, with two windows to the right that have been replaced in earlier openings under wooden lintels. Further to the left, beyond the garden wall, there are inserted garage doors. In the loft, there are two windows to the right of center and a smaller window to the left, all now glazed and positioned directly beneath the eaves. The original loft entrance, located in the right (northwest) gable end where the ground is higher, has been converted into a window. The rear wall also has two loft windows similar to those at the front. The left gable end, which faces a pond, features an inserted opening at ground level, likely for a duck shelter, and above it is a two-light loft window that has been replaced in an earlier opening under a wooden lintel.

Inside, the granary has a single truss with a collar and diagonal braces. The loft windows are fitted with wooden shutters, although the loft floor has been removed. A full-height dividing wall separates the granary from the lower unit.
