Description

Whitened rubble stone and slate roof. Facing the house to the NE it has a replaced boarded door L of centre, with 2 windows to the R replaced in earlier openings under wooden lintels. Further L, beyond the garden wall, are inserted garage doors. In the loft are 2 windows to the R of centre and a smaller window L, all now with glazing and directly beneath the eaves. The original loft entrance, in the R (NW) gable end where the ground is higher, is now converted to a window. The rear wall has 2 loft windows similar to the front. The L gable end, facing a pond, has an inserted opening at ground level, probably for a duck shelter. Above it is a 2-light loft window replaced in an earlier opening under a wooden lintel.

The granary has a single truss with collar and diagonal braces. Loft windows have wooden shutters, although the loft floor has been removed. A full-height dividing wall separates the granary from the lower unit.
