Description
The stable in the park at Penbedw is an Arts and Crafts style building, constructed with pebble-dashed rubble stone walls and brick dressings. It features a hipped tile roof with swept eaves and finials. The structure includes a main range and a lower wing, which is almost square in plan and located on the left side of the south front.
On the right side of the main range, there is a segmental-headed doorway with a boarded door, and to the upper left, immediately to the right of the wing, is a narrow vent strip. A centrally placed hipped roof dormer contains a three-light window. The wing has a segmental-headed doorway on its south wall to the right, along with a central three-light half-dormer for the loft, which rests on a corbelled brick sill.
The west end wall of the main range features a doorway with a shallow segmental head, above which is a two-light opening with a moulded lintel, and a half dormer on a corbelled sill that includes a round-headed boarded opening. The east end wall has a similar two-light opening with a moulded lintel, and above it is a corbelled half-dormer that incorporates a round pitching eye.
The interior has been altered to create loose boxes.
