Description
Pen-y-Garnedd is a 2-storey, 2-window concrete house featuring a main range with a rear wing offset to the right side. The walls show the imprint of wooden shuttering, indicating that the concrete was cast on site. The roof is covered with tiles arranged in a diamond pattern and has rendered stacks. The east-facing front includes a central gabled porch with a boarded door. The windows are 3-light with concrete mullions set in simple architraves. On the north side wall facing the road, the rear wing has a boarded door and a 2-light window to its right. The opposite side wall features 3-light windows to the right on each storey, a 2-light window on the upper left, and a small inserted window on the lower left.
Although not inspected, it is believed that the interior retains fireplaces made of cast concrete, simple wooden boarded doors, and exposed timber joists.
