Description
The former stable at The Old Rectory is a 19th-century building constructed of rubble stone, featuring shallow brick segmental heads and a slate roof that includes inserted skylights and a brick stack on the left side. It faces the yard at the back of the Old Rectory. The main doorway on the left has a boarded door, while to the right is a window and a boarded loft door located beneath the eaves. On the left side, there is a lean-to with a boarded door under a segmental head. The lean-to on the right side is set back and has a widened doorway beneath a concrete lintel. At the rear, there is an added lower gabled projection that obscures two pitching eyes in the original rear wall, which are visible from inside the building.
