Description

The barn at Hendra Isa is a large hay barn built in the mid-17th century. It is constructed of rubble and features a steeply-pitched slate roof with parapeted gables. The west face has two modern windows on the right side of the ground floor and an enlarged central entrance fitted with modern barn doors. There are three tiers of ventilation slits along the facade, and loading bays are present at both gable ends. Inside, the barn has a five-bay layout supported by queen post trusses.
