Agricultural Range tp SW of Plas Hendre

This building is an agricultural range located to the southwest of Plas Hendre. It likely dates from the 17th century and was raised in height in the early 19th century. The structure is built of rubble and has a corrugated iron roof, with many of the windows and entrances altered in modern times. There are irregular ventilation slits along the center of the building. The plain entrance features a timber lintel and a stable door on the left, with a similar blocked entrance on the right. Above this is a square unglazed opening. To the right, there are three additional square windows arranged in a stepped sequence from left to right. The first two are modern, six-pane iron-framed windows with contemporary brick surrounds, while the upper window has a modern boarded shutter. There is also a modern sliding door and window to the right, and the east gable end has kneelers and ventilation slits.

Adjoining to the right and stepped up is an early 19th-century cart-shed that has two storeys. It features external stone steps leading to the first floor, which is parapeted. The roof is slate and includes two modern skylights, with kneelered gable ends. There is a large segmental-arched entrance on the right, which has been reduced in size, with modern brick infill to the left. A boarded half-door is present, along with modern steel-framed windows flanking the entrance and a near-flush square cross-window above.
