Description

The agricultural range located to the west of Plas-uchaf is constructed from local rubble stone and features graded slate roofs with iron roof lights. It has distinctive circular openings for pitching granaries, and both these openings and the camber-headed doorways are accented with red brick voussoirs. To the right, there are two stables with square-headed windows, timber lintels, and brick jambs. The central cowhouse has three doorways, although most of the boarded doors have been removed. Beyond this is a barn with modern sliding doors, and at the left end, there is a gated and lofted cartshed. The right side of the building has an undulating stone roof, while the left side is covered with a corrugated roof.

The uphill gable end features a similar circular opening at the loft level and a smaller one at the gable apex, with a possible blocked opening below. The rear has mainly square-headed doorways and four rows of slit ventilators on the barn, along with a loft door above the cartshed. The absence of masonry breaks suggests that the original size of the building is unclear and likely indicates significant rebuilding in the 19th century. There are also remains of a cobbled forecourt.

Inside, the walls are limewashed. The granary loft floor has mostly been removed, and the roof structure has been largely rebuilt with a simple purlin roof. A roughly hewn truss with diagonal struts is retained near the center of the range. The eastern bays were converted for estate office use in the 1990s.
