Description
The L-shaped cowhouse range at Plas-uchaf is a building that dates from the 19th century. It features a long range aligned north-south, with a shorter range that projects at right angles to the west at the north end. The structure is constructed from roughly coursed rubblestone and has large slate lintels above most openings. The roofs are hipped and covered with slate, equipped with ridge ventilators, and the main range is interrupted by a cross-gable towards the south end.
On the main range, there is a window flanked by doorways to the left of the gable, which also has two wide openings on the ground floor and a loft opening above. Additionally, there is another doorway on the right side of the gable. The short range features a stable door on the front end wall, with two ventilator windows flanking the door on the left return that faces the track. The interior was not accessible during the survey.
