Description
This barn, located approximately 50 meters north of Hendred House, is likely from the mid-18th century and has undergone some alterations. It features a brick plinth and large timber framing covered with weatherboarding, topped by an old plain-tile half-hipped roof. The barn has ten bays and an aisle at the rear, with hipped midstreys on both the left and right of the center, which have altered doorways. Inside, there is a queen-post roof supported by 19th-century rafters. Attached to the barn is a garden wall, also probably from the mid-18th century, made of red brick with flared headers in Flemish bond, creating a rectangular walled garden.
