Description
The Eyston Arms Public House is a mid-17th century building located on the east side of High Street in East Hendred. It features a rendered exterior, likely built on a timber frame, and has an old plain-tile roof. The structure includes a brick stack at the right end and ridge stacks to the left of the center and to the left side. It is designed with a probable three-unit lobby-entry plan and stands two stories tall with a three-window range. The entrance is a six-panel door located in a porch to the left of center. All window openings are fitted with three-light wood casements. Inside, there is an open fireplace situated in the center of the ground floor.
