Description
King's Manor Barn and Gatehouse is a late 16th century gatehouse and a barn likely built in the mid 17th century, with alterations from the 18th century. The gatehouse features a coursed stone rubble plinth and is constructed from coursed stone rubble with brick dressings and brick panels arranged in a regular pattern. It has an old plain-tile roof and is a single storey with an attic, comprising a 2-bay range. To the left is a gateway with 12-panel double-leaf gates, and to the right is a 2-light stone mullion window with a hood-mould. The interior has not been inspected.
The barn has a stone uncoursed rubble plinth and is made of red brick, topped with an old plain-tile roof. It is 2-storey and consists of a 3-bay range. The ground floor features three 2-light stone mullion windows with flat brick arches. At the rear, there is a 2-storey, 3-window range with 2 plank doors and a regular arrangement of wood mullion and transom windows. The interior of the barn has also not been inspected.
