Description
Vine House Gallery is a building that was originally barns, now serving as a shop and dwelling. It likely dates from the late 17th century and was converted in the mid-20th century. The structure features a brick plinth, thin timber-framing with brick infill, and a thatched roof that is half hipped to the right and at the center, with brick ridge stacks positioned to the left and right of the center. The building is a single storey with an attic and has a five-window range, including a two-storey central bay. There is a plank door located to the right of the center, and the windows exhibit irregular fenestration with 20th-century casements. The building also has swept full dormers to the left and right of the center. Inside, there is re-used timber framing, which was likely brought in around 1930. This building is included for its group value.
