Description
Glandwr, also known as St. Asaph Cricket & Social Club, is a late Georgian building that stands two stories high and features a three-window roughcast front with a plinth. It has an attic storey above an advanced and gabled central bay. The steep slate roof has overhanging eaves and plain bargeboards on the gable. The attic includes a horned sash window, while the first and ground floors have small pane sash windows, with a blind upper sash on the left-hand first-floor window. The ground floor has tripartite windows flanking a central arched entrance, which is adorned with a painted broad architrave and a modern panelled door. The right end wall is rendered and features an arched headed sash window in the attic. The left end has twin gables, with an arched headed sash window and a first-floor oriel. At the rear, there are cross and parallel ranges, with a brick gable at the center and an outside rear staircase. The building was subsequently damaged by fire in the autumn of 1987.
