Description
The gatepiers and gate at the Old Deanery are located in a stone boundary wall on the east side of the former grounds, facing the driveway approach from St Asaph Bridge. They date from the mid-19th century and consist of a pair of octagonal ashlar gatepiers topped with cornices. The gate itself is made of timber, featuring latticework and cusped fretwork. At the time of inspection in January 1987, the structure was noted to be in poor condition.
