Description
The railings and boundary walls of St. Kentigern and St. Asaph Parish Church are made of cast iron in a Gothic style. They are set on a concrete plinth and follow the curved line of the High Street from the gated entrance to the east. At the corner, the railings splay straight back before curving into the lower street, where the churchyard wall transitions into a higher rubble wall topped with coping stones. There is an iron gate at the west end of the churchyard. The boundary wall, which is stepped and includes some brickwork, continues east along the north side. At the time of inspection in January 1987, the western end was in poor condition and had been replaced by brick at the northeast squared corner, which overlooks the rear yard of the Kinmel Arms.
