Description
The greenhouse at Talardy Hotel features a prominent central entrance bay that projects forward, with splayed angles on the front. It has a clerestory with top-hung casement windows and a high hipped roof adorned with cast iron finials. The front includes an arched entrance. On either side, there are catslide glazed roofs, while the rear has a slate roof with brick sides.
The walls are made of early 19th century English garden wall bond brick, with some areas of cement rendering. To the west, the wall extends from the courtyard to the rear of the Talardy Hotel, curving at the northwest corner and continuing along the edge of the garden to the modern Tudor Lodge, which is not considered of special interest.
