Description
8 Penlan Street is a late Georgian style building that stands three stories tall and features a two-window front made of coursed rubble with heavy pointing. The front has small pane sash windows of various sizes, including a 6-pane horned window on the ground floor, and a modern door. The roof is slate, topped with a large rubble chimney stack that has weathercoursing.
At the rear, the building originally had direct access to the street and includes a narrow cross range that connects to a parallel two-story rubble range with a slate roof and a red brick chimney stack, which may have been converted from an old coach house. The first floor has 4-pane sash windows, while the ground floor features a 12-pane sash window on the left and a cross frame window on the right. There is also a single-storey range that adjoins to the right.
