It is constructed of rubble stone laid in regular courses, with large stone lintels and a slate roof that has coursed stone end stacks. The central entrance is highlighted by a fielded-panel door, which is topped by a 2-pane margin-glazed overlight. The house has hornless sash windows, with 12 panes in the lower storey and 16 panes in the upper storey. Additionally, there are two gabled dormers that have 2-light windows and slate-hung sides.
