Description
Belle Vue is a pair of 3-storey, 2-bay houses built in the late Victorian classical style. They feature rendered walls, a slate roof with projecting eaves that is hipped to the right, and rendered stacks. Each house has its entrance in the right-hand bay, consisting of recessed panel doors with half-lit side panels and overlights. The ground-floor openings are adorned with cornices on moulded consoles, while the middle-storey windows have hood moulds. Number 1 has 12-pane sash windows, whereas Number 2 has 2-pane sash windows. The right end wall of Number 1 has small-pane sash windows and a small added porch.
The forecourt is enclosed by scribed roughcast revetment walls and iron railings, which extend around the side of Number 1, although the railings for Number 2 are mostly obscured. This property is part of a group that includes 1-2 Belle Vue.
