Green Lodge

Green Lodge is an early to mid 19th century L-plan building. The front part is depicted on the Tithe Map. It features a symmetrical two-storey facade with three windows, finished in cement render, a hipped slate roof, and a red brick chimney stack. The ground floor has horned six-pane sash windows with architraves, while the entrance has a modern door. The side elevation facing Abbey Road includes a short cross range, also rendered and with similar windows. Stepping up from this is a two-storey and basement range with a three-window scribed render front, a hipped roof, and a pebbledash chimney stack. This section has lugged architraves and bracket cills on the twelve and fifteen-pane sash windows. There is a lean-to at the right (west) end featuring sixteen-pane sash windows, and a tall small-pane sash window under a gable at the rear.

The front forecourt is enclosed by a rubble wall, and the side elevation is complemented by iron railings with a gate.
