Description

The War Memorial is a tapering white granite monolith, square in plan, set on two steps. The top of the memorial is slightly smaller than the base. The front of the stone faces east and features a raised cross above an inscribed sunk panel. The names of the fallen are recorded on sunk panels on the sides of the memorial. Additional stones at the foot of the memorial list names that were added after the Second World War.
