Description

This milestone is made from a single block of local limestone, measuring approximately 400mm wide, 200mm deep, and standing about 600mm high. The top of the stone is curved, and it has a flat face. Attached to the stone is a cast-iron plate with a rounded top, which displays the inscription "Ruthin District / Wrexham 16 / Ruthin 2."
