Description
Efenechtyd Farmhouse is a late 16th century asymmetrical stone farmhouse that has undergone alterations and additions. It has two storeys and an attic, topped with a slate roof. The windows are somewhat recessed casements, and the walls are 33 inches thick.
Inside, the ground floor features a south room with two parallel bevelled beams and stopped bevelled and moulded joists. There is a massive central chimney with a curved beam above the inglenook. The staircase is plain but has a moulded rail at the first floor landing. On the first floor, there is an arch-braced truss, ledged doors with groove mouldings and old strap hinges, as well as old purlins.
