Description

CORSLEY COURT LANE ST 84 NW (north side) 7/79 Court Farmhouse GV II Farmhouse, now detached house. Late C16, altered C18. Painted rubble stone, steep tiled roof with gable end brick stacks. Two- storey, 3-window. Central 9-panelled door with wooden flat-roofed porch, 2-light and 3-light casement to right, 3-light casement to left. First floor has three 3-light casements. Left return has single casement to attic. Right return has single casement to ground floor. Rear has gabled stair turret to left with wooden ovolo-mullioned window and 2-light casements. Lean-to extension to right. Interior has planked and wainscot panelled doors in ovolo-moulded doorcases, deeply chamfered beams with runout stops, bolection- moulded fireplace in room to left of hall. Winding newel stairs in stair turret with moulded risers and ovolo-moulded doorway at foot. Five-bay original roof with cambered collars and two tiers of butt purlins.
