Description
The Lofted Cartshed Range at Plas-yr-esgob is a 19th-century structure facing north towards the farmyard. It is constructed from local slatey stone rubble, with dressed limestone used for the quoins around the front and at the top of the main arches. The roof is sheeted. The front features two cart openings, a doorway to the right, and three loft openings, each positioned directly above the corresponding cart opening below. The cart openings are made of limestone and have deep elliptical arches, while the front doorway has a segmental arch. On the left side, there is an outside staircase leading to a loft doorway, and there are two additional loft openings in the rear elevation. The building has a two-bay roof and a timber loft floor.
