Description

Gors Mill Cottage is a 2-storey, 2-window cottage built from local limestone, featuring a slate roof with a tile ridge and brick end chimneys. The cottage has timber bargeboards and casement windows, with 2 four-pane lights above and 2 six-pane lights below. There is a brick-sided porch with a tile roof. The masonry of the original part on the left differs slightly in technique from the later part on the right. The rear of the cottage has similar window arrangements, but includes a small central window on the ground floor. Inside, there is a good fireplace opening on the left side with a substantial timber bressumer.
