Description
12 Lower Gate Street is a double-fronted house that stands 2½ storeys tall. The exterior features whitened pebble-dashed walls, a smooth-rendered black-painted plinth, architraves, and a sill band at the first floor. The steep slate roof has an external stack on the left side, which has been rebuilt in roughcast above the roof line. The original entrance is positioned slightly to the left and features a replacement half-glazed fielded-panel door beneath a lean-to canopy supported by brackets. The windows on the ground and first floors are renewed 2-pane sashes, and there are two gabled dormers that contain plain casements. The property has not been inspected.
