Description

11 Lower Gate Street is a 2-storey double-fronted cottage constructed with whitened pebble-dash and features a black-painted smooth-rendered plinth, architraves, quoin strips, a first-floor sill, and an eaves band. The roof is covered with slate, although the stacks have been removed. The lower storey has openings with segmental heads. The central boarded door is flanked by 16-pane horned sash windows on the ground floor and 12-pane hornless sash windows on the first floor. The rear of the cottage is built against the town wall.
