Description
5 Berry Street is a 2½-storey house featuring a 2-window front made of whitened pebble-dash, with a black-painted smooth-rendered plinth and thin architraves. The roof is slate, and there are brick stacks at the ends. The openings are offset to the right. On the right side, there is a panelled door with an original small-pane overlight and a pediment above it. The left side has 16-pane horned sash windows on both the ground and first floors, along with a narrower segmental-headed 16-pane sash window on the first floor above the entrance, which is not aligned with it. Above the eaves, there is a 2-light small-pane attic window set under a gable.
The rear of the house is cement rendered and features 4-pane horned sash windows on the right side, along with an escape door and stair on the upper storey. There is a 1-storey projection on the left side, which has an inserted first-floor window above it. Another 1-storey projection is located on the right side, partly against the rear of No 1. The property was not inspected.
