Description

17 Chapel Street is a 2-storey, single-fronted house featuring a whitened pebble-dashed front and black-painted smooth-rendered surrounds. It has a steep slate roof and a shared brick stack. The openings on the lower storey have pedimented surrounds. The entrance, located on the right, has a boarded door beneath a cambered head. The windows are small-pane replacements from the late 20th century, fitted into earlier openings. On the right gable end, at the corner with Crown Lane, there is a replaced small-pane window on the lower storey and a 2-light window on the first floor.
