Description
5 Llewelyn Street consists of four two-storey single-fronted terraced houses built with a pebble-dashed front and openings framed in smooth-rendered surrounds. The houses have a slate roof, two brick chimney stacks, and one roughcast stack, with one stack removed from the left end. They are arranged in two reflected pairs, with entrances located on the left sides of Nos 3 and 5, and the right sides of Nos 7 and 9. No 3 features a half-glazed door with an original overlight, No 5 has a replacement panel door, No 7 includes a panel door and overlight, while No 9 has a fielded-panel door and overlight. The shallow bay windows have paired horned sashes with four panes over single panes, topped with a dentil cornice. The first floor has similar paired sashes with four panes over two panes, accompanied by a sill band. The left gable end is constructed of brick. This group of houses is part of the wider context of 3-9 Llewelyn Street.
