Description
7 Llewelyn Street consists of four two-storey single-fronted terraced houses, built with a pebble-dashed front and openings framed in smooth-rendered surrounds that have been whitened. The houses feature a slate roof, two brick stacks, and one roughcast stack, although a stack has been removed from the left end. The buildings are arranged in two reflected pairs, with entrances located on the left sides of Nos 3 and 5, and the right sides of Nos 7 and 9.
No 3 has a half-glazed door with an original overlight, No 5 features a replacement panel door, No 7 has a panel door with an overlight, and No 9 has a fielded-panel door with an overlight. Each house has shallow bay windows with paired horned sashes, consisting of four over single panes, topped with a dentil cornice. The first floor has similar paired sashes of four over two panes, accompanied by a sill band. The left gable end of the row is constructed of brick.
This group of houses at 3-9 Llewelyn Street is noted for its architectural cohesion.
