Description
3-9 Llewelyn Street consists of four 2-storey single-fronted terraced houses. The front is pebble-dashed, with openings framed in smooth-rendered surrounds that have been whitened. The houses feature a slate roof, two brick stacks, and one roughcast stack, although a stack has been removed from the left end. They are arranged in two reflected pairs, with entrances located on the left sides of Nos 3 and 5, and the right sides of Nos 7 and 9.
No 3 has a half-glazed door with an original overlight, while No 5 has a replacement panel door. No 7 features a panel door with an overlight, and No 9 has a fielded-panel door along with an overlight. The shallow bay windows have paired horned sashes, with the lower sashes having four panes over single panes, and are topped with a dentil cornice. The first floor has similar paired sashes of four panes over two panes, accompanied by a sill band. The left gable end of the terrace is constructed of brick.
This group of houses at 3-9 Llewelyn Street is notable for its architectural features.
