Description
Portis is a 2-storey, 5-bay house featuring pebble-dashed walls that are painted white on the front elevation. It has a slate roof and a large external chimney stack on the right gable end, which includes a bread oven. The central boarded door has glazed panels. The windows are late 19th century horned sashes. On the lower storey, there are two 9-pane windows on either side of the doorway, while the upper storey has three 4-pane windows that are evenly spaced. At the rear, there is a central stair light, and to the left of this is a small lean-to.
