Description
Pistyllmarch is a building constructed from whitewashed rubble stone, topped with a corrugated iron roof over thatch. It is a single storey with a loft and features rendered end stacks, with the one on the west being larger. The south front, which faces a bank, has two 4-pane sash windows on the ground floor and a small 4-pane casement window above the left ground floor window, which breaks the eaves. There is a loft light on the east end and a rear rubble lean-to that includes two windows.
Attached to the west is a byre with opposed doors and a door leading into the house, which has a rendered brick centre stack. There are also two additional doors on the east side. Inside, there is a heavy fireplace beam at the north end, and it is said that the building has large roof trusses and retains some of its thatch.
