Description
Blaen-cwm-gwaun-hendy is a longhouse that includes an attached agricultural range. It dates back to an unspecified period and features a two-storey, two-window house with a lower agricultural range on the left gable end and a lower single-storey projection on the right gable end. The building is constructed of rubble stone and has slate roofs. The house has roughcast stacks at both ends.
The windows on the house include segmental-headed four-pane sash windows in the lower storey and two-pane sashes beneath the eaves, all positioned towards the right and featuring brick dressings. The entrance to the house is located at the right end of the agricultural range, accessed through a segmental-headed boarded door with a brick segmental head. To the left of the entrance, there are stone camber-headed openings that include a single door, a higher and wider cart shed doorway, and another lower door. The gable end of the building is clad in corrugated iron sheets.
On the right side of the house, the lower projection has paired four-pane sash windows beneath the eaves, along with an additional shed that has a corrugated iron roof. The property has not been inspected.
