Description

This is a two-storey, single-fronted cottage situated on Chapel Street. The building dates to the 18th century and is part of a row that includes No. 2 Erskine Terrace. It has whitened pebble-dashed walls and a hipped slate roof to the right side. A brick end stack is located at the rear in the Chapel Street elevation. The front entrance, on the left side facing Erskine Terrace, now has a replacement half-glazed panel door. The windows are hornless sash windows; the lower storey has 12 panes, and the upper storey has 9 panes. There is a 12-pane hornless sash window in each storey on the side wall facing Chapel Street. The building was not inspected.
