Description

5 Erskine Terrace is a 2-storey single-fronted house of rubble stone with a slate roof, part of a terrace numbered 1–15. It forms part of a group that includes the entire range.

The building has a shared stone chimney stack typical of the terrace, with segmental stone window heads beneath upper-storey gables. No 5 contains a replacement door, a 2-pane horned sash window on the ground floor, and a replacement top-hung casement in the upper storey. The terrace steps up in height between No 5 and No 7.

To the rear, No 5 has a replacement window. In the 1960s, a paired 2-storey flat-roof extension with a higher eaves line than the main range was added to the rear of Nos 3–13, of which No 5 forms part.
