Description

ST KEVERNE COVERACK SW 71 NE 7/129 Minstel Cottage (formerly listed as as No 2 Chapel Row) 15 1 70 GV II Cottage, probably C18. Rubble stone base with upper walls of cob. Timber lintels to ground floor opening. Thatched roof with brick chimneys in gabled ends. 1-room deep, 2-cell. 2 storeys, asymmetrical, 4-window front. Ground floor with horizontal sliding sash (6 panes per sash) to left and 12-pane pivoting window to right of vertically planked door. Above, 3-light centre hung casement (2 panes each), then 4-pane fixed light and 2-light centre-hung casement (6 + 3).To right part of facade broken back with horizontal sliding sash on ground floor (6 panes per sash) and 2-light centre hung casement (6 panes each) above. Rear has lateral brick chimney continuing from back wall. Interior not inspected.
