Description

Corner Cottage is a circa 17th century, end-of-terrace cottage located in Coverack. The cottage is built of whitewashed rubble walls and has a thatched roof; the left end is gabled and there is a half-hipped roof over the projecting front bay. It is a single-depth building, two storeys high, with an asymmetrical two-window front. The left side has a two-light horizontal sliding sash window containing six panes, alongside a partly glazed timber door. Above this is a two-light horizontal sliding sash window with glazing bars. The projecting wing has a large horizontal sliding sash window with six panes on the ground floor, and a smaller horizontal sliding sash window with six panes on the first floor, placed asymmetrically beneath the half-hipped gable. The interior has not been inspected.
