Description
Smugglers Cottage is a Grade II listed building located in Coverack, St Keverne. Originally two cottages, it has been converted into one and is part of a terrace dating from the 17th century. The cottage is constructed from whitewashed rubble stone and features a thatched roof, with brick stacks at both gable ends. It stands two storeys high and has an asymmetrical three-window front.
On the ground floor, there is a 12-pane sash window with a four-pane top, which does not have horns, and a two-light horizontal sliding sash window with six panes each, flanking a partly glazed 19th-century door. To the right, there is a partly glazed timber door and a small single-light casement window with four panes. The first floor includes eyebrow eaves over a 12-pane sash window with a four-pane top, a nine-pane sash window, and another 12-pane sash window with a four-pane top. The interior has not been inspected.
