Description
Carndu and Trevarrow are two cottages dating from the early 19th century. They feature whitewashed rubble walls and a thatched roof made of combed wheatreed, with cropped eaves on the right side and gabled ends. There is a partly rendered brick stack on the left gable end and additional brick stacks located between the cottages. The buildings are two storeys high and have an almost symmetrical appearance, with a four-window front. The central entrance doors are flanked by a glazed door on the right and a 20th-century glazed porch with an asbestos slate roof on the left. The left-hand window consists of three-light casements, each with two panes. There are three other ground floor windows and four first floor windows, all of which are four-pane sashes that include horns. The interior has not been inspected. The cottages are included for their group value.
