Description

The Beach House is a house, probably from the 18th century. It has stuccoed whitewashed rubble walls on the sides, with some cob in the upper walls. The roof is made of asbestos slate, featuring a gable end facing the road and a hipped gable end on the side over a projecting wing. There are brick chimneys on the front slope and at the rear. The building has an L-shaped plan and is two storeys high, with a three-window range. The ground floor and first floor of the gable end have 4-pane sash windows, and similar windows are found on the recessed front. The interior has not been inspected. The house is included for its group value.
