Description
17 Berry Street is a late-Georgian style, three-storey double-fronted house. It features a cream pebble-dashed front on a smooth-rendered plinth painted green, with a slate roof and a pebble-dashed stack on the left side. The house shares its eaves line with the neighboring properties at Nos 19-25, but has a lower ridge, suggesting it was not part of a larger development. The central entrance has a half-glazed panel door. The replacement windows have segmental heads and thin rendered surrounds, also painted green. The lower and middle storeys contain 12-pane hornless sashes, while the upper storey has shorter 9-pane hornless sashes. The left gable end features a cast-iron street sign for Chapel Street, and on the left side, there are two superimposed 2-light small-pane casements leading to a rear outshut.
