Description

Old Priory is a 17th-century building featuring a main block that faces east. It has a central rectangular stone chimney, with a chimney to the left that has paired stacks set diagonally, and another chimney to the right with three stacks also set diagonally. There is a projecting gabled bay that includes a camber-headed window on the first floor with a drip mould, and a large camber-headed window with a mullion and transom on the ground floor, which also has a drip mould. To the left of the gabled bay, there is a single bay with a camber-headed window on the first floor and a camber-headed doorway beneath a porch supported by wooden posts and topped with a slate roof.

On the south return, there is a camber-headed window on the first floor set to the left, and at the rear, there is another first floor window and a door with a window to the left. To the right of the front gabled bay, there are two first floor windows and three ground floor windows, all camber-headed and featuring small pane hornless sashes. At the rear of the north gable, set back from the main front, there is a cambered arch leading to a rear door, with a small camber-headed window above it that has small pane glazing. To the right of this, there is a two-storey block aligned north-south, which has three first floor square-headed windows with small pane hornless sashes. On the ground floor, there are two broad doorways that likely served as former carriage or cartsheds, now used as garages, each with double boarded doors and strap hinges.
