Description
Bron Derw is a building constructed from local rubble, featuring a plinth and a hipped slate roof with boarded eaves. It has two rectangular stone chimneys on the ridge. The front of the building has three windows, with a central bay that is set slightly forward. The windows have deep stone lintels and are glazed with small pane hornless sashes, consisting of twelve panes over twelve, with a thicker central glazing bar.
On the ground floor, there is a central porch made of grey squared rubble, which has a parapet. The porch includes a window at the front flanked by narrow windows, with the current entrance door to the right and a former doorway to the left. There is a window on each side of the porch, mirroring those on the first floor. The left elevation features two windows that match those on the front, while the right elevation is similar, although the right windows are dummies painted with a glazing pattern to match the front.
At the rear, facing the stable yard, there is a northeast block. On the north side, there is a door, and on the west side, there are two small pane sash windows on the first floor (four panes over eight) and two windows on the ground floor that were formerly doors. At the northeast corner of this block, there is a stone archway leading to the stable yard. To the left of the block, there is one window on each floor that matches the front of the house. A small modern extension is located to the west.
